DJI LR-01
Obstacle sensing module for the Matrice 4T: rotating LiDAR and five-direction millimetre-wave radar. It keeps flights safe near power lines and substations, including in low light. Wires and branches under 12 mm in diameter may go undetected (DJI data).

Limitations stated by DJI

- Fast-moving objects
- The aircraft cannot actively avoid them: operating wind turbines, moving tower cranes, birds in flight
- Environment
- Clouds, fog, rain, snow and dust, and the material, position and shape of the object, affect obstacle avoidance and bypassing
- Thin branches and wires
- Small branches and wires under 12 mm in diameter around the flight path, and slanting wires nearby when the drone flies vertically
- Blind spots
- The module has blind spots: their extent is in the module's User Manual
- Radar
- In some countries national rules do not allow it to be activated, or allow only limited functions
- Before flight
- Update all devices to the latest firmware and check that the module works. DJI recommends good GNSS signal and favourable weather
