What you need

Everything it does

Map

Four base maps, two dates: Piedmont orthophotos from 2024 and 2018, a light map and a dark map: the same place compared six years apart. Outside Piedmont, satellite imagery underneath.
Your own orthophotos and models: Processed orthophotos and terrain models, Nadir's included, underneath the routes, in 2D and 3D.
DXF and PDF drawings: Design drawings laid over the map, in their own coordinate system or calibrated on four points.
Notes and measurements: Points, lines, areas, circles and distances, saved and shared with the team.
Search: Across routes, plans, orthophotos and notes as you type; across places at a keystroke.

Routes

Seven route types: Waypoint, area, slope, linear, geometric, patrol and 3D capture.
The survey is computed as you draw it: Area, flight lines, shots, time and battery from the ground detail you need, with the longest shutter time that avoids motion blur.
Every point with its own settings: Altitude, heading, lens, zoom and actions for each waypoint; two lenses in the same shot.
3D view and virtual flight: The route in the air at its true altitude, terrain underneath; flown in first person with the framing of the chosen lens.
Minimum clearance above terrain: Along the whole route, computed on the terrain model and rounded down: the figure shown always errs on the safe side.
Zones avoided automatically: Flight lines are cut at the edge of no-fly zones and joined by going round them; risky legs are marked as no-return.
Copilot: a route in plain words: Type «rilievo del campo a 60 metri» or «alza la quota a 80»: Centro operativo shows what it understood, then builds or edits the route. It understands Italian, and also works on the remote controller, offline.
Straight to the remote controller: Routes appear in the DJI Pilot 2 library, ready to fly; patrol routes carry people detection already switched on.

Live flight

Telemetry: Position, altitudes, speed, distance from home, batteries, signal and sensor status, in real time.
Aircraft alerts: On-board alerts in plain words, read out loud and kept in the day's log; Remote ID included.
Control from the computer: Take-off, fly to point, orbit, return to home and landing; sticks from the keyboard or a gamepad, like on the remote.
The pilot has the last word: The remote controller has authority over the computer: when the pilot steps in, control goes back to them. Before take-off, the checks to confirm.

Video, camera and accessories

Near real-time live feed: The drone's video at the operations centre with minimal delay, even with the remote controller on 4G.
A link for the client: A view-only page for whoever needs to follow the live feed without entering the program.
Remote camera: Lens, zoom, focus, exposure and shutter from the computer; temperature with a click on the thermal video; distance from the laser rangefinder.
Spotlight and speaker: Light on, off and dimmed; phrases spoken through the drone's speaker.
Photos that arrive in flight: Shots reach the operations centre while the drone is flying, without waiting for the card; every flight goes into the logbook.

AI on the video

People and vehicles: Boxes on the live video, with an alert when people appear; the colour of each vehicle, to look for a described car.
Number plate reading: Draw a box around the plate in the video and Centro operativo reads it, country included.
Wildlife from thermal: Hot spots marked automatically on the thermal video, with estimated length: searching for and counting animals.
All on the computer: Recognition runs in the browser, on the graphics card: the video does not go through external services.

Airspace, weather and safety

Flight zones: Geographical zones loaded from the official file: restricted and authorisation zones ask for confirmation before a route is sent.
Your own areas: No-fly zones, work area and no-landing zones drawn by hand: routes that touch them do not go out.
Air traffic: Nearby aircraft and helicopters from ADS-B receivers, with an altitude comparable to the drone's.
Weather and ionosphere: Hour-by-hour forecast at the flight location, with the drone's limits alongside, and the Kp index for GNSS.
Flight data to airspace services: The drone's in-flight position sent to the airspace management services that request it.

Operations and paperwork

Missions in six steps: Mission, category and flight, crew and aircraft, risk assessment, checks and documents, approval.
Risk assessment: For every threat, the defences that prevent it and those that limit the damage, referenced to the operations manual.
Approval: Only the administrator gives it; a mission changed after approval says so by itself. Recurring jobs start from a template.
Certificates, documents, occurrences: Expiry dates flagged in advance; an occurrence log with the time left for mandatory reports.

Team and access

Roles: Observer, pilot, administrator: who watches, who flies, who decides.
Shared data: Routes, plans, notes and defects shared across computers, with a history of overwritten versions.
Protected access: Access password, per-person credentials, remote controller paired with a six-digit code.
Where it runs: Installs as an app on Mac and tablet and opens inside DJI Pilot 2. English interface, using the DJI names pilots already know; in-flight voice and printed documents in Italian.
