Loss adjusting and insurance

Damage documented with measurements and a certain date: orthophotos, areas and close detail without climbing on the roof.

A loss report is worth what its documentation can carry. The problem is rarely seeing the damage: it is measuring it, dating it and delivering it in a file a third party can reopen and check. A stripped roof is documented from the air in half an hour; the scaffolding to do the same costs more than the report.

What we do

Survey of the damaged area

Georeferenced orthophoto: areas, distances and outlines are taken on the file in the software you already use, and stay verifiable by anyone who reopens the data.

A built-up area after the event: stripped roofs and scattered debris, all in the same scaled image.

Detail without contact

The telephoto resolves bolts and cracks on a structure ten metres away and brings back detail from up to 250 metres: no lift, no walking on the roof.

Tiles gone and battens exposed, shot from a distance: nobody went underneath.

Measuring unreachable points

The laser rangefinder returns distance and coordinates of the framed point with an error of ±(0.2 + 0.0015 × distance) metres: on a point a hundred metres away that is thirty-five centimetres.

A detail high up, above the gutter: the distance is measured, no scaffolding needed.

Event damage to crops

Hail, flooding, wind: the affected area is outlined and quantified in hectares, with dated, georeferenced imagery and a comparison against the undamaged plot next to it.

A farm with the water still in: the flooded area is outlined and quantified while it can still be seen.
