Agronix finds in the maps the zones with much lower vigour than the rest of the same field and lists them; on the phone «Take me there» leads to the spot.

A vigour map says that something is wrong, but not what. To find out you have to go and look, and points to check avoid walking aimlessly. After each survey Agronix compares every part of the field with the rest of the same field, leaves out wheel tracks and headlands and marks the real drops, with the distance from the boundary. In rice fields it also marks weedy rice patches.

Points are listed by field and shown on the map with their number; those near the headland can be hidden. Every point has its map crop and its status: to check, checked or false alarm, with the date.

Phone

«Take me there» and «Photograph here»

In the field the phone shows distance and direction to the point with GPS and compass, or opens the route in the navigation app. Once there, «Photograph here» takes the photo linked to the point: it becomes an observation and can be recognised by the AI.

How points are found: 1 m cells compared with the rest of the same field, 3 m headlands excluded.
Check: 10 drops of 15 % placed at random in a real field: 10 of 10 found, 0.4 m median error.
