Weather and alerts

Spray at the right time and miss nothing

Nine-day forecasts at the centre of every field, spray windows, weather warnings, risk of the main diseases and alerts with thresholds each user chooses.

Agronix weather comes from the Norwegian meteorological service, which publishes forecasts from the European ECMWF model at about 9 km, updated every hour. For every field Agronix works out the spray windows from wind and rain, keeps the history and uses it for disease risk. Everything that happens, from weather to finished maps, reaches the Alerts page and, if you like, your email.

Weather

Pick the right hours to spray

Wind, gusts and rain hour by hour, with suitable hours marked in green: wind within public guideline thresholds and no rain in the hours after spraying. Thresholds can be changed in Settings, for example with the rain-free hours required by the product label.

  • Nine-day forecast per field
  • Frost, strong wind, heavy rain and heat warnings
  • Field history since activation
Disease risk

Know when disease can start

Using historical and forecast hours, Agronix applies published models for downy and powdery mildew of vine, apple scab and late blight of potato and tomato. After the last treatment confirmed in the records it counts the days passed and the rain fallen.

  • Models from the literature, with the source
  • A multi-day rain is a single alert
  • Days and rain since the last treatment
Alerts

Choose what should alert you

Finished maps, new points to check, observations to confirm, record, machine and licence deadlines. Plus personal thresholds: minimum and maximum temperature, forecast rain, wind and humidity, satellite NDVI below a value or falling, reminders on a date. Each person chooses which alerts to receive by email, in one summary message.

  • Personal weather and vigour thresholds
  • Never the same alert twice
  • Summary email, chosen person by person
